Club History
Coill Dubh AFC are a soccer team based in a Bord na Mona Village in North Kildare.
Coill Dubh AFC was formed by Paudie Sullivan,Mick Mc Cormack and Mick Mooney etc, in 1978.
Commonly known as 'The Dubh's',we have two senior teams, 2 Master's Teams and Hope over the Coming years To Have underage teams, ranging from U8 to U16.
Cusack Park, located on the outskirts of the Village on the Dag's Road is the clubs new home.
With a State of the Art Floodlight Pitch.
Coill Dubh currently play in the Kildare and District football Leasue Premier Division, and they have won the Kildare league a record 7 times last winning the league title in 2009, by beating Ballycane in the final game of the season 2-0 after the League changed to a Summer football.They last won Lumsden League Cup in 2010 after a 12 year wait.
The Dubh's have won the league and cup double,numerous occasions the last one been 2007. There are only team who have won the Charles R. Wynne Senior Division 3 times in a row. The clubs home jerseys are Black with white stripes.

Current Club Captain is Micheal (Mikie) Behan
One of the best players in the club is Adam McLoughlin.While the Youthful Emmet O'Donaghue is one of the clubs most skillful and Prolific players, who now represents the club at Under 16's and senior level.
Ex players for the Dubh include Trevor Bowers, Trevor Mcloughlin,Gero Gannon,Eoghan Carew and Mark Heffernan.
Legends of the Club include our present Manager Antoin Carew,Sean Casey,Frank Dowling,John McLoughlin,Jack McDonald,Davie Anderson and of Course Mad Paddy Moran.
Paddy Sullivan also needs to be congratulated to for all his work over the years with the Underage and is now Head Groundsman.
